Student assistant in the field of Matlab Multibody simulation (m/f/d)
KV R&D is looking for a student assistant to support us in optimizing and redesigning our Matlab programs as soon as possible. Your task will be to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the existing programs. Based on these findings, our program for determining specific rope dynamics will either be optimized or completely redesigned. This position will give you the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of mechanical engineering. If you are enthusiastic about applied simulations and programming, have very good analytical skills and can work both independently and in a team, then you are the right person for us!
Responsibilities
- Familiarity with an existing Matlab environment
- Development of dynamic rope kinematics using advanced multi-body simulation (MBS) tools
- Optimization or redesign of the existing Matlab program
- Integration of 3D models into the Matlab environment
- Implementation of customer-oriented simulations
- Supporting the team in day-to-day business
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a degree program in mechanical engineering, design or a related field
- Profound programming skills in MATLAB and/or Simulink, as well as CAD environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of Excel and other relevant software programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Willingness to learn and contribute in a dynamic environment
- Previous internship or work experience is a plus but not required
